Bobby Unser biography
Bobby Unser , in full Robert William Unser, (born Feb. 20, 1934, Albuquerque, N.M., U.S.), American automobile-racing driver from a household of drivers, who received the Indianapolis 500 3 times (1968, 1975, 1981).
Unser first raced in 1949 and first competed within the Indianapolis 500 race in 1963. In 1956 he received the Pikes Peak Hill Climb, his first of what would ultimately be 13 victories in that race; profitable the occasion had been nearly a household monopoly. He received two United States Automobile Club (USAC) races in 1967 earlier than profitable his first Indianapolis 500 in 1968.
