Maury Wills, byname of Maurice Morning Wills, (born October 2, 1932, Washington, D.C.), American skilled baseball participant and supervisor, who set base-stealing information in his taking part in profession.

Wills was a star soccer quarterback and baseball pitcher for Cardozo High School (Washington, D.C.) and was signed to a contract by the National League (NL) Brooklyn (later Los Angeles) Dodgers in 1950. He batted each right- and left-handed and threw right-handed.
